He helps people resolve differences with their insurance companies, and says one of the biggest mistakes people make is telling insurance adjusters too much. Giving away information that hasn't been asked could mean a hold-up -- or a hold -- on your claim.Don't put yourself in a situation where you even have to worry about what you say or don't say. Insurance experts suggest if you have any doubts about your roof or other common things that get damaged by storms, get those items fixed now.
